Bean's Movie Reviews: See This Movie!

This comic is a bit of a departure from what I usually do (which is autobiographical comics), but for me this blog is all about experimentation and learning, so I'm not opposed to trying something new.

This comic features a character I made up for fun. She's a combination of my daughter and me as a girl and a few other kids I've known through my years of teaching piano and working with youth in churches. Working with a new character (and a fictional one!) seems to spark a whole new set of ideas and inspiration. Give my girl a few comics and then tell me what you think. I'd love to hear from you so please leave a comment below!

And thank you for visiting my blog and reading my comics. (and hey, it's free, right?)

  1. Silence Of The Lambs is a total classic (the sequels aren't too good, except for the Red Dragon remake, that was awesome). I love scary movies and I think I might have a little horror movie marathon tonight or tomorrow. We'll see; I've got Rosemary's Baby (another classic) and Insidious, which I haven't seen yet.

Like you asked, I'll give you a few comics with your new character but... so far so good. :D

  2. I've never seen Silence of the Lambs. Just the trailer and commercials back in the day creeped me out. It looks really good tho. For a long time my favorite scary movie was Nightmare on Elm Street. The first time I saw it I loved it. Then years later I saw it again and it looked so dated! And even though it's not really a horror flick, Alien is just one of the best thriller/suspense movies, hands down.

  3. I've never seen it. So now I'm wondering about the pattern on our lamp shade. Perhaps it is someones tattoos??? I like your comics Robin & am adding you to my RSS reader

  6. I transferred my site from a Wordpress self hosted site to Blogger after it had major tech problems & eventually died. There's a lot of older comics that I still have in the "imported" but not yet posted status that I am gradually adding the comic images back into.
