What, the Fork?

The Hub and I just spent four amazing days here:
On the North Shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. It was idyllic, the weather was perfect and the moon romanced us every night! Like this:
Our trip was not without it's crazy moments. Like this lesson on "Fork Physics" that the Hub gave me one morning at breakfast. He gives breakfast lectures on electronics, philosophy and music techno gear too. I enjoyed this one about "capillary action" the most though. (And sorry for the overlooked misspelling. I'll have to go back and correct that one of these days.)

La-De-Da

Today's comic is just a silly thing that happened at breakfast yesterday.

And for those of you that like to peruse the details: Phil's arm looks like it's sinking right into the table. Hmmmmm.... a little off on the perspective there.

On another subject entirely:
I've been checking out Andrew at Shmerious Blog (which you should too... lots of cool art, comics, illustrations and shtuff) and he posted a very cool book that he made. So, I thought I would follow suit and post a similar book that I made earlier this summer. The cover is book board decoupaged with vintage repro paper, blank pages all sewn together with hemp. Fun!

Eggistential Recruitment

HEY! Hope you're having a good weekend!
I'm spending today drawing and watching Season 1 LOST with my daughter.
Best Season, Best T.V. Show Ever! I still can't watch it without crying... I'm not a dork, it's just that good.

By the way, anybody wanna take a stab at what "Eggistential Recruitment" means?

A Wonderful Thing

I really hesitated to post this because I seem to post a lot of cartoons about common bodily functions, but it's really true to life. This happened yesterday morning when Nate got up. I guess a lot of a 10 year old's life is centered around bodily functions. I guess being a mom a lot of my life is centered around bodily functions, too. So, I apologize if you are getting tired of "potty" humor but that's just how it is in our family.

Having said that, I will add that the kids are passing around the stomach flu and I could be cartooning that!!! But I won't.
