Oops on the ink smudge on the bottom of today's comic. I've been inking with a nib and pen holder and a bottle of ink and it doesn't dry as fast as my rapidograph. Yeah, yeah, tmi on the comic making info...

Daddy Issues
My oldest son is getting ready to donate his hair to Locks of Love for the second time! His hair grows really fast and is perfect for donating. It's pretty cool. Locks of Love is an organization that makes wigs for kids who have cancer. This is a conversation we had over breakfast about how Riley should get his hair cut.

Lost Etiquette
It's appropriate that today we have a little lesson in "LOST" etiquette to save you from embarrassment and shame as you watch the Grand Finale of LOST tonight. One rule, very simple: Never. NEVER. NEVER make a sound. If you must cry, gasp, exclaim, shout indignantly, swear or scream, or ask incredulously, "what the h*** was that???" you must wait until the commercial break. Repeat: wait until the commercial break. I have learned this from experience and I humbly pass on my wisdom on to you. Your welcome.

Never Without Guilt
Sadly, I don't indulge often. The guilt is just too much to bear. Really, there should be french fry rehab. What's your favorite fry? Taco John's potato olés are awesome, as are Arby's little potato cakes. My kids prefer curly fries and of course there's always tots. I don't understand my addiction...

Free Comic Book Day!!!
Free Comic Book Day was a lot of fun. It was like a mini-convention, there was a ton of people and everyone was excited. I think we could've spent the whole day there talking to people and looking at stuff. If you have a chance to go next year, do it!!! You get a bunch of free stuff (always good!) and it's a fun way to celebrate comics! The Minnesota Con is in two weeks and we'll go to that too!
After Free Comic Book Day at the Source, we went to our comics class and that was awesome too! I'll post our first assignment soon...

Double, Double Toil and Trouble
Yeah, I really did make homemade laundry detergent. I tried it out today and I think it worked pretty well.
I'm working on a Free Comic Book Day comic so that will come soon, but it's a long one so it's taking me awhile. Also coming is my comic assignment from the class that Rosie and I are taking. Man, there aren't enough hours in the day!
Happy drawing (for those of you who draw) and happy reading to the rest!
Thanks for stopping by!
